Inverter Power Supply
The inverter power supply is primarily used for the frequency conversion speed regulation of AC motors, and its importance in electrical transmission systems is increasingly prominent, leading to significant energy savings. The main circuit of the inverter power supply typically follows an AC-DC-AC configuration. The power from the mains, at the line frequency, is rectified to produce a fixed DC voltage. Subsequently, a high-power transistor or IGBT-based PWM high-frequency inverter is employed to invert the DC voltage back into an AC output with variable voltage and frequency. The output waveform of the power supply approximates a sine wave, making it suitable for driving AC asynchronous motors to achieve smooth speed control.
